I recently got this PS2 Gibson SG for Guitar Hero and decided it needed some TLC. The rubber cord had gotten old and stiff over the years, so I replaced it with some "sushi" paracord. One thing I did off camera was lubricate the buttons and strum bar with some synthetic-based lubricant, which got rid of a lot of the creaks and squeaks of plastic on plastic.
