How strong can earthquakes REALLY get? Watch this video to find out! Special thanks to ‪@CaSeismograph‬ for allowing me to use their seismograph readings! This channel is the only 24/7 live homemade seismograph in the world and is located near Los Angeles, California. I hope these simulations will bring more earthquake awareness around the world and educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards. All these simulations take into consideration only the shaking caused in close proximity to the earthquake's epicenter. Also, a friendly reminder that for this video's purpose, I have shortened the actual duration of the simulation. Any earthquake over M 7.5 could last for more than a minute.
