The Sri Lanka You Never Knew Existed! 🇱🇰

Join us on a journey to a mysterious island just off the north coast of Sri Lanka. We heard we could possibly catch a ferry to this tiny island so we got ourselves a bike and headed over there. The drive to the port was bloody beautiful at sunrise through the most incredible end of the world landscapes, was bird watching galore. Turns out there are a couple of ferry's running a day to the little island of Eluvaitivu so we paid our 300 Sri Lankan rupees for us and the bike then headed over there. We spent the next couple hours exploring this island of around just 500 people I've gotta say it was a strange place! When we arrived back on the mainland we headed to a little village nearby where we met some lovely people, had a refreshing sarbath drink, ate a huge local rice and seafood curry lunch then checked out the little market for a good old Sri Lankan king coconut. Driving back to Jaffna we came across a lady selling juices by the road so we got a Sri Lankan orange juice with a little salt and pepper, although warm this hit the bloody spot. On arrival in Jaffna town we nipped out for some classic Jaffna mutton curry to round off the day. Was a quality day here in the Sri Lanka you've probably never seen before 🇱🇰 Subtitles Available!
