Micro jigs are small and heavy, giving you great casting range - most micro jigs these days are also quite easy to use. The biggest issue with micro jigs is the hardware - at least for how they are used here in the UAE. However, with their potential to catch bigger fish, it is advisable to upgrade the hooks. Given that you will be fishing with light line, upgrading the hooks are enough to at least give you a fighting chance to catch the bigger fish that bite.
