Last minute day trip so the Sustrans Traffic Free Cycle Rides book came out. We were going to use trains so for ease we took the Bromptons. The book has some great safe short routes for families and they are all Traffic Free. The route starts in a little village of Riccall and it is ten mile into York from there. We had to get the train and Riccall does not have a train station so we got off at Selby which added an extra four miles.
