Yamaha YC61 YC73 YC88 Custom Patches Updated (with free download). Headphones Recommended!

NOTE: This is meant as a supplementary video to the main demo of custom patches, showcasing just new patches (and a few of the old ones which I've updated). The original video, showcasing all the original patches, can be found here:    • Yamaha YC61 Custom Patch Demo (with d...   Here at last is my updated set of custom patches for the Yamaha YC range. I was going to upload a video a few months ago, but then Yamaha announced the version 1.30 firmware update, so I held off for a bit whilst I investigated that. In contrast to the original video, which showcased a lot of "bread and butter" workhorse sounds, this one comprises a whole load of more "ambient" sounds. It's quite a long demo, as I've given a minute or so to a lot of the patches so that you can hear them with the benefit of the added effects being piled on, but I've added chapter headings so that you can jump to the next patch if the one you're listening to doesn't really grab you. Note that the download linked below contains all the sounds showcased here as well as all of the original patches from the first video (with the exception of the three replacements listed in the text), so there's a total of 72 patches altogether. The original patches still sound the way they did in the original video but they have some new enhancements accessed via the effects switches etc. The original download set is still there, linked to on the YouTube video for the original demo. All patches have been stored as a base sound with optional effects set up ready to just be switched on or off. Patches marked with a single asterisk * are updated versions from the original set; patches marked with a double asterisk ** utilize version 1.30 sounds or firmware update features. Just for the sake of consistency, my favourite patches are marked with a § 00:00 H-1 Felt Piano Pad ** 01:17 H-2 Hamburg Pad ** 02:06 H-3 Vollenweider ** § 03:25 H-4 Layered Choirs ** 04:24 H-5 Cho + Str + Org ** 05:20 H-6 Alto Flute 06:14 H-7 Harp & Flute ** 06:31 H-8 Soft TD Seq 08:14 I-1 DX Soft Brass ** 08:31 I-2 DX Flute ** § 09:22 I-3 DX/FM EPno ** 10:10 I-4 DX Guitar ** § 11:28 I-5 AmbientFretless ** § 12:15 I-6 Really Soft 5th 13:01 I-7 Brass Fifths 14:07 I-8 PWheel Brs 5ths 14:41 B-8 Soft OB Brass * (replaces "Soft Lead") 15:20 E-6 Ambient Guitars * § (replaces "Guitar + Organ") 17:03 E-1 Classic Gtr Pad * (replaces "12 String") 18:01 A-5 Simple Upright * 18:20 A-6 CP80 1+2 * 18:54 B-2 Soft EPno+Strng * 19:24 B-3 Clavi 1+2 * 19:40 C-2 Sawlike Lead * 19:53 C-3 Analog Lead 2 * 20:56 C-4 Beaubourg * 21:43 D-2 Soft Fifths * 22:39 D-4 Concerto Gold 2 * § 23:10 D-5 Brass Orchestra * § 24:38 D-7 Harpsi+Str+Org * § 25:15 E-4 Gtr + Amp + FX 2 * 25:42 E-5 Gtr + Amp + FX 3 * 26:34 G-1 CX3 ClassicSoul * § 27:03 G-3 CX3 Smoking * § Instructions for downloading: The entire set may be downloaded from the link below; it's organized into nine Live Pages of eight sounds each, so you can pick and choose individual patches if you want. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/0qkc32... You don't need to have dropbox installed in order to download it - just go to the link, and wait for the Download button to appear at the top right of the screen (be patient - this can take a few seconds). Once it has appeared, click the button (you may have to press Enter), and select Direct Download to save it to the location of your choice. Videos such as this take a number of hours to plan, play, edit and prepare. I never ask for any payment for any of the soundbanks I link to on my Youtube videos but, if you download these sounds, please consider liking and subscribing. As other YouTubers have pointed out, there are two positives to come out of this: 1. It's free for you and you get to see more interesting videos like this (don't worry, you won't be plagued by hundreds of videos every week, as I only release fairly occasionally), and 2. It helps this channel grow. Enjoy :-) Note: Listening back to this, I've picked up on a few auditory artifacts that weren't there in the original recording, so which must have crept in as part of the conversion to YouTube. Apologies for that!
