Eek-A-Mouse & Joxaren are the first artists featured on Selam Sessions 2022. It would be tempting to say that Eek-A-Mouse a.k.a. Ripton Hilton doesn’t need any introduction, but the truth be told is that the Jamaican legendary artist with his unique “singjay” style, known for hits such as “Wa Do Dem” and “Ganja Smuggling” always has developed in new directions while still retaining that unmistakable voice. He has been working in Sweden for the last two years and we are proud to relaunch Selam Sessions by present his collaboration with Swedish dancehall and electro wizard Joxaren to a wider audience. Selam Sessions is our long overdue project to showcase the whole range of music and styles that Selam represents to the world. We’ve finally organized a series of recordings highlighting the output of the artists we love most and presenting work of the highest order to music lovers globally.
