Amazing condition survivor! 27,555 original miles. It's almost unbelievable that this car is original, it's so nice. 1 owner until 2020. Pontiac Historical documented, original order form and window sticker. Very desirable 400 with a 4-speed and a great color. EXTERIOR: It's amazing! Claimed and believed to have original paint still. The original body is mint. No rust or damage. Original spot welds are still showing along the 1/4 panels. It has the Formula scooped hood, sport mirrors and spoilers. Sharp looking Polaris Blue. We looked hard and close for tape lines or overspray and couldn't find any. The paint looks new until you look really closely. There are tiny rock chips behind the tires. It has the original Formula decals. The few pieces of chrome are excellent. The glass is crystal clear. The weatherstrips are still soft. It rolls on a set of 15 inch wheels with poverty caps and BFG tires. INTERIOR: I swear I am sitting in a brand new 1976 Pontiac. Even the little bits and pieces are like new. Down on the floor the carpet and center console look brand new. The Hurst 4-speed shifter ball is not worn at all. The seat cushions are still firm, the upholstery and door panels are mint. All the plastic trim is mint. The headliner, visors and mirror are pristine. In front of me the dash area is pristine: the gauges are crystal clear, woodgrain is not worn, clock is working. The original steering wheel is not worn at. The owner put a cassette player in the factory hole, the factory 8-track is still in place. There is a glove box pouch in the glove box. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching 400 motor with original components. it's completely stock and complete. It still has original ribbed heater hoses, overflow bottle and shroud. Squirters are hooked up. It has power steering and brakes. The metal still has nice paint finishes. It looks like it did when it left the factory. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's a time capsule. Under the trunk lid and the jamb have mint original paint. Inside is immaculate metal with original black paint. The insulated mat and original weatherstrip look new. It has the space saver spare and air bottle. I don't think the jack has ever been out of the car. It also has a few boxes. Of original parts off the car including the radio. UNDERSIDE: It has an exceptionally clean original underside. The floors are immaculate rust free metal that still wear their original red oxide primer from the factory. It has the sport suspension with swaybars front and back. The steering and suspension have been maintained as needed, shocks look new. Correct GM muffler with dual splitter tip tailpipes. The original fuel tank still has the ink stamp. Has disc brakes in front, drum in back. The e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor the oil pan has never been spray painted over, the starter looks new. The VIN number matched M21 Muncie 4-speed is clean. The drive shaft still has original assembly line paint markings. In back it has it's original Saf-T-Track posi rear end. SERVICE: We inspected the car and it passed with flying colors. All we had to do was replace the alternator belt. CONCLUSION: It is rare to find a survivor that looks new like this one. You will only regret not buying it, because there won't be another one this good!
