A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has granted an order suspending the implementation of the repealed Kano Emirates law which allowed the reinstatement of a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as the Emir of Kano. The Sarkin Dawaki Babba had gone to court to stop the government's decision.
