He's created a course editor, allowing you to make either branched or continuous courses made up of any combination of the original 15 Outrun 2 or SP stages in either their normal or reversed mode. This also includes the the dusk and sunset Palm Beach and Sunny Beach stages that are normally only available in the game's time attack mode. From Outrun 2 on Xbox and beyond, we've had a different looking car which is the one we're now all familiar with. Noob' also pointed out that this Testrossa was also in the Xbox demo of Outrun 2, but only as a rival car. So, I thought I'd discuss the pros and cons of the different versions of the Outrun 2 games (and in some instances the regional changes too), and the systems they're playable on, to try and come up with a definitive answer. I did talk a little about the different versions of the modern Outrun games in the 30th anniversary tribute video I made back in 2016, so there is a bit of repetition about certain Outrun 2 factoids here. Having said that though, I do go into quite a bit more detail in this video, specifically comparing the different games to each other and discussing their individual strengths and weaknesses in that respect (plus, the Outrun tribute video was something like the 2nd ever video I'd ever made in a voice over documentary stylee, and I think I'm a bit slicker at it now, so if you enjoyed that video hopefully you'll find this one complements it rather than simply rehashes old ground). Also, there have been a couple of new things happening in the world of Outrun since 2016... A couple of things just to add: the PC gameplay that starts at 14:08 HAS got the bloom effects in. Also, when I do the 4 way split-screen look at Outrun Online arcade, Xbox Coast 2 Coast and the PC with and without bloom, around the 15:48 mark, the PC footage is looking a tad low res compared to the others. This is because I didn't have the original footage I'd originally recorded on my hard drive anymore and I had to re-record it off YouTube using screen recording software.... I was initially hopeful that the YouTube team would be able to fix it, but over 20 emails later and much reassurance that the YouTube technical team are 'looking into it', I've realised that nothing's ever going to change, so I've made the rather heart breaking (in view of all the positive comments and interaction it'd received) decision to de-list that video and start again... This is the EXACT same video file, the only difference here is that I uploaded this to my Google Drive first (for the YouTube technical team to so-say download and look at) before I decided to try exporting it into YouTube. Initially it looked like the same thing had happened - stuck at 360p - but after 24hrs, all the HD resolutions finally appeared.
