Not sure what attempt this was but it was likely under ten tries. This attempt would have ended quicker at 1:41 if I didn't screw up the riposte and didn't misjudge the distance of the Comet during the end. I don't know how to feel about the SoNaF since I like straight swords and this is quite the strong weapon but it doesn't sit well with me. It's reminiscent of my favourite weapon in Dark Souls 3 - the Twin Princes' Greatsword - but it lacks the utility the latter provided beyond just "big damage" and I think most times utility is far more crucial and evergreen. Admittedly, SoNaF does have a neat stagger combo. If you manage to break Malenia's stance (80 stance) the first time, use the Comet (33 stance) on wake-up and follow up with charged R2 (30 stance). She'll stagger again in a few more hits to repeat the process. Ideally, I should have used the Golden Order Seal since it scales off Int/Fth but I don't really enjoy the Fundamentalist incantations and I much prefer the simple "pew-pews" of sorceries. That said, Magic Glintblade really is fantastic. It handles enemies that dodge on cast really well and you can turn it into a pseudo-nuke by setting all four at once after a divebomb and heal FP while they fire off on their own; utility and damage.
