Commander Colin Maud, Beachmaster, D-Day 1944 - The Longest Day - 1/35 WW2 Diorama

My first project of 2024 is complete and its one that I've wanted to do for a long time as its a scene from my favourite WW2 movie 'The Longest Day' depicting Commander Colin Maud who was a Beachmaster on D-Day, The movie has a few inaccuracies in that the scene is set on Sword Beach but Commander Maud was actually the Beachmaster on Juno Beach. He was also given the temporary rank of Captain for the D-Day landings, hence his shoulder boards are not those of a Commander. Maud's real dog 'Winston' was a German Shepard and not a Bulldog, I've read that the directors changed the dog as there is a German Shepard in a another scene and they didn't want two dogs the same to confuse the viewer. Maud was also a technical advisor for the movie and the shillelagh wielded by actor Kenneth More in the movie is actually Mauds own.
