Link to the original Arkansas State Police video:    • Toyota Camry tries to outrun police (...   Police report by the Trooper: On 6-4-2024 at approximately 2335 hrs, the North Little Rock Police Department was in pursuit on Interstate 30 westbound near mile marker #142. They were in pursuit of a black Toyota Camry displaying Arkansas license plate number, “AHX32Y” for reckless driving. The North Little Rock Police Department were advising speeds of 100+ mph during the pursuit. The North Little Rock Police Department requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police with the pursuit. I, Trooper Blayn Lucas, was able to intercept the pursuit on Interstate 30 westbound at mile marker #139. I was able to take primary in the pursuit on Interstate 30 westbound at the south interchange. I was able to catch up to the suspect vehicle, and once there was a break in traffic, I used the front right corner of my patrol unit to make contact with the left rear corner of the suspect vehicle. I performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (T.V.I.) to bring the pursuit to a stop. The suspect vehicle spun out causing the rear to make contact with the median concrete wall where it came to a stop. I turned around to assist the North Little Rock Police Department with a felony traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was taken into custody without further incident. I obtained photographs of the suspect vehicle and of my patrol unit to be attached to the report. The scene was then turned over to the North Little Rock Police Department.
