My Ex-Husband Returns Home - Why Love & Friendship Endures

I take you through my week of reuniting with my son's father. He arrived from Tennessee to be with his sister Jan who fell gravely ill. Jan was a wonderful amazing woman whom I loved. As I spent time with John and our high school friends, I could not help but wonder why some people are in our lives forever but some seem to disappear so mystery. What are the three things an enduring love or friendship has in common? I talk about what I think those three things are. How about you? Some of the clips you see in this video are of John in me in 2022. We helped each other through the tears, the waiting, and the heartbreak of the week. We went to thrift stores, took long walks, prayed and spent time with our son and grandchildren. It wasn't easy to hug him goodbye. It really was terrible...but that is life I suppose. To love is to risk...but a risk worth taking. My love to you always, thank you for your good wishes, prayers and uplifting kindness you show Desi and me every day...
