In this video I teamed up with Sweetwater to talk about the new Roland V-Pad VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat Controller that they have developed that FIXES all of the issues with electronic drum set hihats. I’m playing a Roland TD-27 KV Electronic Drum Set Gen 1 drum set in this video. The gen 2 of this kit comes with the upgraded hihat. I have never loved playing on electric drums…but this changed that. It was extremely enjoyable to play an electric hihat that responded in real time to my drumming needs.
