How it's done. What's the construction procedure. What do you need to know during pile cap construction process. Construction site #05 "PILE CAPS". In today's video I will show you step by step the pile cap construction process. You will see whole process of construction starting for excavation - digging for which you have to set a laser as per drawing including in this case extra 100mm for cell core and around 50mm for blinding - 150mm below soffit = 225mm below pile cut off level (75mm pile projection). After pile cropping pile integrity test has to be taken to confirm good pile condition and then blinding - 50mm layer of concrete and cell core installation (heave board) on top. When ready like this it's time for setting out the lines and double check the levels. Site engineer job is to keep checking all the time and making sure everything is as per drawings and in this case the pile cap information is collated from few trades - drawings: drainage, foundation layout, RC drawings, crane installation drawings and lightning protection, so as you can see always get all information about the job you're doing 😁 Before pour last checks have to be done with the client - rebar, crane anchor position, started bars etc and then green light for concrete is given 👍👍👍 JOIN the best engineering community 👍👍👍 SUBSCRIBE NOW!!! 👍👍👍 leave the THUMBS UP!!!
