We'll also discuss how the design of our dimensional model affects a semantic modeling technologies like SQL Server Analysis Services, Azure Analysis Service, or Power BI and how the choices we make during the data warehouse design phase can make or break our reports. Speaker Bio: Dustin Ryan is Director, Data & AI Solutions at Microsoft. Dustin has worked in the business intelligence and data warehousing field since 2008, has spoken at community events such as SQL Saturday, SQL Rally, and PASS Summit, and has a wide range of experience using the Microsoft business intelligence stack of products across multiple industries. Prior to his time at Microsoft, Dustin worked as a business intelligence consultant for a Microsoft partner.
