Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street (Chinese: 上下九步行街；上下九路; Sheung Ha Kau Kai in the Cantonese dialect) is a famous commercial pedestrian street & popular shopping destination in the Liwan District of Guangzhou, the capital of China's Guangdong province. It is a street composed of outstanding Chinese architecture dating back to the late 19th century, namely the charming antique shophouses known as Tang Lou 唐樓 or Qi Lou 騎樓 as well as the Lingnan styled teahouses of Southern China.
