I had no plan here except to play with the pretty new autumn foliage released with Gold Road, and do some moderately aggressive terraforming. I've had several very disappointing house WIPs lately that either hit walls I couldn't overcome, or just ideas that didn't go like I planned, so this is kind of a 'pretty nonsense' house just to heal my soul a bit. The cottage itself was an afterthought, and is undoubtedly nothing 'new'. I just needed the simplest 2 story house design I could think of that would take up the fewest slots possible. It's a rough draft, and will likely be reworked if/when Gold Road structures are released. (I'd sell my soul for a terracotta style roof tile.) Or possibly even before then, because now that I've been staring at this in editing I can see all sorts of clipping errors holding hands haha. The music in this video is just from the in-game /lute. I will make an attempt to find their titles and add them here later. Apologies for any choppiness, this update has not been kind to my FPS. And also sorry it's a bit rushed, this is attempt number 3 to get through it in one go without it starting to rain. This house would not have been possible without the numerous people who went above and beyond to obtain and learn the new furniture recipes so soon, and were willing to craft them for the materials, or sold them at reasonable prices.
