Custom Channel vs. Vintage Channel | Fender 68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue

I've wanted to make this video ever since I grabbed my 68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue! Fender's website says the custom channel is a "Bassman® tone stack, reduced negative feedback for greater touch sensitivity and quicker gain onset." I've always wanted to see if there was a big enough difference between the two channels to see if it was as big of a selling point as they want it to be! So today I got to do that! Both channels are set up at the same volume with the same EQ and mic'd with a Shure 57. I'm playing an Epiphone 335 Pro stock. Can you hear a difference? If you have a 68 Reissue, which channel do you lean toward?
