What it’s like in Naalehu, Hawaii | America’s Southernmost Town

When my family and I took probably our best vacation ever back in January of 2022, hopping across 3 of the Hawaiian islands, we (and when I say we, I mean I) had to stop by Na'alehu on the Big Island of Hawaii which happens to be the southernmost town in the USA. It is a very nice, quaint, and quiet little place with very good and friendly people. I absolutely loved interacting with the locals, speaking to them, and asking some questions about what life's like all the way down there. It's certainly a much different way of life, and while they are connected to the rest of the big island by road, they're still pretty remote and due to high prices of everything...people are forced to live life more simply.
