Frisk's backstory: Frisk's Parents wanted a "normal" Child and were seriously disappointed when the doctor announced that they don't know what gender Frisk is. After hearing these news the parents couldn't decide which gender they are either. The parents keep fighting constantly if they want to raise Frisk as a boy or as a girl and ended up just sending Frisk to an orphanage before they would divorce over this. Frisk got raised really mixed, because nobody wanted to decide Frisk's "true" gender. Frisk also never got treated too well. when they were 13 they got dared to climb Mount Ebott by "friends" from school and you know the end ;D By the way, to avoid confusion, Frisk did destroy the barrier (pure pacifist route) but most of the Monster don't know yet, because Asgore wants to prepare everyone and everything for the big step outside. so only our main antagonists know about the barrier being destroyed.
