It’s graduation season at my alma mater, University of the Witwatersrand and I cannot but remember this day last year. It was on this day in 2021, when all the efforts and years of study finally paid off and I was officially conferred with a doctorate degree!!! It was at the time of Covid-19 (omicron variant) prevalence, so it was done virtually. Nonetheless, it was still a day of joy for me and I can not but make it memorable for myself!
