Mainly using Am pentatonic scale. This lesson is aimed at the beginner, so the licks are not too fast, and generally easy to learn. Techniques include bending, vibrato, slides and double stops. Intermediate lesson now available. ** Please note: The performance has a couple of extra notes here and there, particularly between the licks. When I filmed this I didn't even realise I did it. The licks in the lesson part are what I intended to play, but In the perfomance I was playing with some 'feel' so a couple of passing notes slip in here and there. My excuse is that I never play anything exactly the same way twice, and making these videos is tough to work the cameras, the computer, the lighting, the backing track, the amp and then put in a good performance too!
