They marvel at the pastel-colored tombs and speculate about the cultural practices surrounding them. As they travel through Thai towns, they are greeted by the tantalizing aromas of fried rice, egg, chilies, and coconut. The air is thick with the scent of food being cooked in the many local eateries. The landscape is breathtaking, with beautiful mountains and pristine beaches, such as the one in Prachaup Thailand, recommended by their friend Maui Hoy. They consider staying in this picturesque location. At the W Museum, despite the sweltering heat, they find respite in the air-conditioned space, which they enter for a modest fee of 50 baht each. The museum is quiet, with few visitors, allowing them to enjoy the exhibits, including a waterfall Liz is tempted to jump into. The aquarium captivates them with its array of fish, some swimming sideways or even upside down, which they find peculiar. They encounter a blocked-off display area and a mangrove section, despite some camera issues likely caused by humidity. They learn about various fish species, including the poisonous red lionfish, and joke about a "fire extinguisher fish" display. They are fascinated by the giant groupers, sharks, and other marine life, noting the longevity of groupers, which can live up to 50 years. The aquarium also features a club-like area with black lights and music, bubble windows, and a floor made of seashells.
