Add on Note; someone correctly pointed out I did not show any foot switching in this video. My bad. I usually foot switch all the time to keep the legs from cramping up and getting back upwind more efficiently. Oh well, some unbalanced video editing and i just didn’t switch as much while concentrating on getting moves lined up for the cam. One big advantage of my wing mount cam Is that I don’t have to think about constantly lining up for the action cam. I ride more normally with a wing mount cam😀 So this is the 4th time I’ve upgraded my Duotone boom wing quiver since 2019. Pre-Echo to Echo, Echo to original Slick, original Slick to SLS Slick and now SLS Slick to DLab Slick. Each time I upgrade it’s not like I immediately think the new wings are far superior to my old wings, but I can usually see the potential they offer once I eventually get them dialed in. Definitely the case here. You immediately feel how stiff these wings are, both struts and canopy. Great for being highly powered up. They say these wings don’t have as good low end but I honestly can’t really tell a difference in the low end to my SLS’s, and that’s after riding all three sizes (4, 5 and 6). After getting 2 full seasons with the SLS’s I fully expect these DLabs to deliver on 2 full seasons with the least amount of strut and canopy stretch.
