VR6 Engine - Explained

The Volkswagen VR6 engine has been used in the VW Golf GTI, Passat, Phaeton, Touareg, Beetle, and many of the golf generations, among others. The VR6 engine is a bit of combination of a "V" style engine and an inline engine, which is where the name "VR" is derived.
