Eventide MicroPitch Demo: random factory presets in the Device Manager

The MicroPitch is a great pedal! I thought it would be fun to demo some of the factory presets that come pre-loaded in the Device Manager. There are clean and dirty solo guitar sounds throughout the demo. I used a Hudson Broadcast and a Strymon Iridium for most of the dirty sounds. I used Scuffham S-Gear for the clean sounds and some dirty sounds as well. Towards the end of the video, I pair the MicroPitch with a Boss Dimension C Waza and the sounds are really lush. A great combination! It reminds me of Richard Thompson's chorus-ey tones on 80's recordings. Another surprise was the "Frisell" factory preset. I was expecting Bill Frisell's tones but I'm hearing David Gilmour sounds kind of reminiscent of the Electric Mistress flanger sounds he got in the late 70's most notably on his first solo album and all over The Wall album. So I played to a backing track of Pink Floyd's "Mother" off The Wall album. Thanks to Now YOU Shred for the awesome backing track! Overall, this is an awesome pedal. I don't quite know how to classify it. It has chorus, dimension, flanger, delay, and reverb sounds that you can pull out of it though I wouldn't necessarily call it a multi-effect. More like an ambiance maker! I will time stamp each factory setting in the video at some point (coming soon) for easier access.
