These are a competent, well-made loudspeaker that offers deep, powerful bass and top-end extension. While they can be a little forward at times, this can be tamed with speaker positioning and tubes. Arendal may not be exclusively a home theater company, but many folks eyeing these speakers are probably both 2-channel enthusiasts and multichannel dabblers. Think along the lines of SVS and Klipsch. For today's review, I'm focusing on the audiophile music experience with the 1723 Towers.
