Easy DIY Cement Pot And Garden Art From A $2 Ball !!

I'll show you how to create a simple DIY cement pot from a ball or some interesting garden art focal pieces. These are two very simple and fast cement craft ideas. You can make your own homemade cement pot in only an hour. The cement ball pictured can be turned upside down and used as a pot. And the rope balls look fantastic if you can start off with quite a large one then add another 2 of differing sizes and group them together. The balls used are $2, and you can find the exercise balls and others for free on marketplace. These homemade cement ideas can be painted any colour you choose, I just worked with what I had available although I think the red looks great, Like a big ball of yarn!! The ball looks good when left natural and allowed to weather naturally, you can also use the way I've coloured this ball and the technique of making the ball, except over a randomly shaped object, to create lightweight artificial rocks for the garden. A tip for making the rope balls significantly stronger is to soak the rope in a mixture of 50/50 water and bonding agent/polymer/external grade pva for 10 minutues before mixing in the cement......
