How to fish a plastic tube bait for huge smallmouth bass. In this video I talk all about a proven technique that puts big bass in the boat on a consistent basis. Fishing a plastic tube is the real deal and it is one my favorite ways to fish for bass. I have caught good largemouths and smallmouths with tubes and you can flip, punch, drop shot, drag, cast and skip tubes. They are a very versatile lure that can be used in so many different situations. They often are used to mimic crayfish and smallies can't resist them. Tubes are also great at mimicking baitfish such as perch or shad and you can catch fish all the way on the bottom to just below the surface with tubes. I'll go through a few tips on how I like to fish a tube, along with the colors that I like and the brands I currently use. I'll will also show you what rod and reel combos I like to use for using a tube.
