I recorded this song earlier this year and was saving it for a rainy day (see what I did there)? I remember having this GREAT idea of how Song of Storms follows Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" really well. Then I got on the internet and realized A LOT of people have had this great idea already too, haha. So consider this my humble contribution to something that obviously just works so well and is recognized by a lot of great musicians out there. Song of Storms is a Waltz in 3/4, so this is taking off one count every two measures (so from 6 counts down to 5 counts), resulting in a missing count that changes up Song of Storms just a little bit. The chord changes happen to play nicely with Take Five too. Makes for an all around fun arrangement.
