‘Extremist Islamist groups’ influencing student protests at Sydney University

The University of Sydney has welcomed into its decision-making processes “voices that are influenced by extremist Islamist groups”, says Strategic Analysis Australia Director Michael Shoebridge. “(Voices) that clearly celebrated and advocated violence, including celebrating the atrocities of October 7,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “You can see by giving groups influenced by those voices a seat at the table in decisions about the university makes every Jewish person fearful, anxious and I would say more than disappointed in the University of Sydney.”
