Kat Von D was once the brand that inspired the beginning of Kendo, which would soon go on to build brands like Marc Jacobs Cosmetics and Fenty Beauty. However, after their brand saw a natural decline after 11 years, a decline partially spurred on by controversy and partially by lack of new and exciting products, Katherine von Drachenberg sold her shares, leaving the company to rebrand, which unfortunately just hasn't been going as swimmingly as they may have liked.
