Join me for a walk through the centre of Tweedmouth, the often overlooked settlement across the River Tweed from Berwick, England's northernmost town of al! Historically always part of England, unlike its neighbour over the water, Tweedmouth is full of fascinating and unique heritage, from a centuries-old rivalry with Berwick to shared landmarks, celebrations and culture! On our walk around Tweedmouth, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Royal Tweed Bridge, The Queen's Gardens, Berwick Old Bridge, Tweedmouth War Memorial, Main Street, the old Harrow Inn, Mill Wharf, the Tweed Dock, St. Bartholomew's Church, Tower House Pottery, Tower Road, the old Tweedmouth National School, the East Coast Main Line and Shielfield Park, home of Berwick Rangers and Tweedmouth Rangers.
