Erster selbst gefangener Aal, ca. 80 cm lang, tagsüber gefangen, filetiert und gebraten (mit Knoblauch, Majoran, Salbei, Salz & Pfeffer). Bitte seid nachsichtig wenn das filetieren nicht so ganz fachmännisch erfolgt ist, es war das erste Mal, nächstes Mal klappt es besser. Danke für die informativen Videos:    • Aal | Ausnehmen, Häuten & Filetieren ...      • Aal töten und richtig ausnehmen Tipps...   Obwohl erfahrenere Buddies davon abgeraten haben den Aal zu braten und eigentlich „so einen großen Fisch“ nicht essen wollten (außer evtl. geräuchert), hat es wohl allen ganz gut geschmeckt. Und: Ich wollte keinen Aal töten, die Bestände sind im Keller, allerdings saß der Haken sehr tief. Hätte ich ihn unbeschadet abhaken können wäre er wieder ins Wasser gekommen. Caught first eel, length approx. 80 cm (at daytime!), cut some filets from it and cooked it (with sage, marjoram, garlic, salt & pepper). Sorry for the noob-ish filleting, it was the first time, next time i will do it with more skill and confidence. Thanks for the valuable info in these videos:    • Aal | Ausnehmen, Häuten & Filetieren ...      • Aal töten und richtig ausnehmen Tipps...   Although my buddies didn't want me to fillet this eel (they said they would not recommend to fry it, smoking would have been their choice for „such a big fish“) they all seemed to be pretty astonished an pleased with the taste. Edit: I didn't want to kill any eels for the population is very low. It swallowed the hook very deeply so i couldn't unhook it without injuring it badly, otherwise it would have gone back into the water.
