How to use the Foster inhaler - a practical demonstration and review of important information about this device. Foster is a very common inhaler used for asthma and COPD. It is a combination inhaler containing an inhaled corticosteroid (antiinflammatory agent) and a long acting bronchodilator (drug which opens up the airways). It is an MDI inhaler, which means it is a pressurised container which releases a puff when triggered.
