Ken Bruce has said he will still look back fondly on his time at BBC Radio 2 despite the broadcaster asking him to leave earlier than he initially expected. The 72-year-old Scottish presenter signed off from his final mid-morning programme on Friday which he has hosted for more than 30 years. Bruce had a few weeks remaining on his contract with the corporation but his final show was brought forward by the BBC before he moves to Bauer’s Greatest Hits Radio in April.
