Hopefully, you can save some money and time by doing this DIY job yourself. We removed this bumper to repaint it. As you can see, there were some gashes on the side. TOOLS NEEDED: You will only need a 10mm socket wrench or plain wrench. Feel free to use and impact gun to make things faster. You will also need a panel clip removal tool. If you are like us and love to torutre yourself, you can use a flat-head scewdriver. PROCESS: This is very simple bumper removal. We love working on, what is essential a Toyota. Toyota really thinks about the simplicity in their structural design. Once you get passed the fear of working on a car, it's super easy First, we started by removing the top bolt on the ends of the bumper. We demonstrated this on one side of the bumper but the process is the same for the opposite end. There is one 10mm bolt connected to each bumper bracket that needs to be removed. After that we moved on to the lower bumper. We started with side we were on, but there is a total of 4 bolts and 4 push-pin clips on each side. Use your panel clip removal tool to take off the clips, it's pretty easy. There are 4 bolts in the middle of the bumper and 2 clips total. Now you can move to the final two bolts which are located behind the trunk. Lift that trunk up and locate the two small squres or bolt covers. Pop those off and use your 10mm socket wrench to remove the last bolts. Now we can dismount the bumper by pulling each end out and working towards the middle. If you ES300 has sensors, be sure not to let the bumper fall and disconnect the wire harness. Just press down on the clip and separate the connectors. You are closre to being a pro now. The install process is the same just work in reverse. Good luck and thanks for watching!
