Hi everyone! Welcome back to my channel. This week I walked to teach you all a little about Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). I have personally used OMT for: -back/neck/knee pain -ear infections -lymphedema -constipation -headaches/migraines -TMJ -rib pain/cough/cold -congestion -balance issues -breastfeeding/latch -colic The list goes on and on! As an osteopathic physician, we look at the patient as unit - mind, body spirit. We believe that the body has the ability to self heal, self regulate, and health maintenance. We believe that Structure (anatomy) and Function (physiology) are reciprocally interrelated. And any rational treatment is based upon the understanding of the above three principles.
