Another segmented turning with odd joints cut on the band saw. No sanding needed. I also made a new ring cutting fixture for making this. Not your typical segment. The pieces were organized by types of wood. That part was planned out. Made from Peruvian Walnut, Maple and Padauk. This is sometimes called a bowl from a board or a band saw bowl. I call it Chaos because all of the joints are cut free hand with no lines to follow. Fun and easy to do using left over pieces sometimes called scraps. Finished with Deft Lacquer and Acks Sanding Abrasive Paste and Polish Tools used were bowl gouges and negative rake scrapers.
