Blasphemous - Sacred Sorrows - Last Sorrow of the Unfathomable Wills (True Torment S+)

On August 24 we're gonna be blessed with the release of Blasphemous 2, sequel to one of the most epic games I've ever played. So to commemorate the ocassion (and since I'm doing a replay of the whole game), I decided to record this. I'll probably do something similar in Dead Cells by doing a full run with the Face Flask. So, what is the Sacred Sorrows? This is basically the Boss Rush mode of this game. It has six "trials" called Sorrows, each one adding or featuring certain bosses. In addition, there're two difficulty options: Pilgrim (where you will fight the bosses as you would do normally) and True Torment (as you would do in New Game+, where they have more health and do more damage). You'll get a rank at the end of a Sorrow, and while it gives you stats like how many flasks you used or how many times you got hit, the reality is that the rank is determined by time. The Last Sorrow of the Unfathomable Wills is the sixth and - well - last trial of this mode, and probably the hardest challenge in the game (specially if you want to get an S+). Not only does it include every boss in the game (in fact, it's the only Sorrow that has the two bosses added in the last DLC, who are some of the toughest ones), but the order of each fight is randomized, ending it all with Crisanta of the Wrapped Agony who has her third phase from the "True Ending" path (added in the last DLC as well). - - Rosary Beads - - - Fire Enclosed in Enamel: increases prayers casting speed - Scale of Burnished Alabaster: allows to block/parry attacks from behind - Knot of Hair: 5% damage increase on sword attacks - Drop of Coagulated Ink: 100% prayer damage bonus - Crown of Gnawed Iron: Increase fervour generated after an attack by 50% - Embers of a Broken Star: Increase fervour generated after an attack by 50% - Reliquary of the Suffering Heart: Regenerates health over time after using a Bile Flask as long as you don't get hit - Reliquary of the Fervent Heart: Constant fervour regeneration over time. Occasionally I swap out the latter bead with the Reliquary of the Sorrowful Heart (changes the content of Bile Flasks, recovering fervour instead of health) which synergizes with the Reliquary of the Suffering Heart, activating the health regeneration even if the flask doesn't recover health. Basically you can recover both fervour and HP with just one flask. - - Mea Culpa Heart - - - Smoking Heart of Incense: increases prayer damage by 100% and blood attacks by 50%, but it increases fervour cost of prayers. - - TIMESTAMPS - - 0:00 - Warden of the Silent Sorrow 1:06 - Ten Piedad 1:55 - Esdras, of the Anointed Legion 3:09 - Amanecida of the Molten Thorn 5:43 - Isidora, Voice of the Dead 8:52 - Laudes, the First of the Amanecidas 11:36 - Our Lady of the Charred Visage 13:23 - Amanecida of the Bejeweled Arrow 16:14 - Melquíades, The Exhumed Archbishop 18:07 - Amanecida of the Golden Blades 21:48 - Tres Angustias 23:04 - Last Son of the Miracle 24:18 - Expósito, Scion of Abjuration 25:19 - His Holiness Escribar 26:18 - Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel 28:58 - Sierpes 33:32 - Quirce, Returned By The Flames 35:04 - Crisanta of the Wrapped Agony Art in thumbnail by Nekro:   / nekroxiii
