girl literally too angry to die, destroys god and bitrate -- The Grandmaster Heartside serves as the culmination of my Celeste experience. I've been setting up that line for 4 videos now. The heartside itself, while not the gameplay of the rooms, was almost entirely the project of valkyria. She carried this entire map, and more than that, she put up with my eternal bitching. My relationship with this map is pretty complicated - I playtested a significant portion of it, but still had an absolutely terrible experience when replaying it for this video. I don't think I'm going to be playing Celeste again for a while. The amount of times I choked at the end of a flag totals over 120. At one point, my thumb started to bleed to the point where I needed to play the next couple flags with a band-aid. I recognize the objective quality of the map, regardless of how questionable the philosophy behind it may be, but I can't say I had fun.
