In this vlog, I'm taking you along with me and my cousin Meena as we embark on the holy journey to the Vaishno Devi temple. We started our yatra from Yatra Dwar, which is the starting point of the Vaishno Devi Yatra located in Katra. This is where the spiritual journey begins, and we felt a sense of peace and tranquility as we started on this sacred path. We were surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful mountains that seemed to touch the sky. Our first stop on the yatra was Baan Ganga, which is a small stream where Mata Vaishno Devi is said to have quenched her thirst. We wanted to take a dip in the cool waters of the stream but couldn't do so as we wanted to reach at Bhawan before late night. But we washed our face there and believe me it was a real refreshing experience. Next, we reached Charan Paduka, which is a holy rock that has footprints of Mata Vaishno Devi. It's believed that she rested here for a while during her journey. Our next stop was Ardhkuwari, which is a cave where Mata Vaishno Devi is said to have meditated for nine months. The cave is small, and it was an intense experience to be inside. We felt a strong spiritual energy and a sense of awe while being there. After a while, we reached Bhawan or Main Gufa, which is the main temple where devotees do Pindi Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. It was 13 KM long and tiring trek, but the sight of the temple was mesmerizing. We felt blessed to be in the presence of Mata Vaishno Devi, and the feeling was indescribable. We did Pindi darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi and offered our prayers. It was a surreal experience, and we felt a sense of fulfillment after completing it. Our last stop was Bhairon Ghati, where Baba Bhiravnath's temple is situated. The temple is located on top of a hill, and the trek is a steep climb. But the view from the top was breathtaking, and we were glad that we made the effort to reach there. This was my third yatra of Maa Vaishno Devi after 17-18 years, and it was a different experience altogether. The trek is now easier than it was before, and the facilities for devotees have improved significantly. It was heartening to see people from all walks of life coming together to embark on this spiritual journey. I hope that through this vlog, I was able to give you a feel of what it's like to undertake the Vaishno Devi Yatra. The journey is not just about reaching the temple but also about the experience of being there and feeling the spiritual energy.
