The past few weeks I've been spending some time up on the Clark Fork of the Stanislaus River fishing for Trout. Prior to this trip I hadn't been catching limits on the Clark Fork but I had been having a blast fishing it with my buddy Matt and with my kids. This trip I took a little more serious. My goal was to catch a limit on the Clark Fork and put some protein in the freezer. I tend to release the vast majority of the fish I catch, probably over 99%, but I do enjoy eating my catch as well. Throwing back stocked rainbows is like throwing away a Big Mac after you already purchased it, and its nice to have some tasty fish to eat.
