POV: You work from home and love what you do. This video offers 2 hours dedicated to study/work. I use the Pomodoro Technique to set 25 minutes of work and 5 minutes of rest. It's a productive way I found to maintain my study and work routine more sustainably. I hope you enjoy it. What is the Pomodoro Technique? The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method based on periods of 25 minutes of focused study or work, interrupted by 5-minute breaks. After four consecutive study intervals, longer breaks are usually taken, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. By the way, (fun fact for nerds like me): the technique was developed in the late 1980s by the Italian Francesco Cirillo, who was looking for a way to increase his productivity in studies during his early university years. For this, he used a kitchen timer to organize tasks, hence the name POMODORO, which means tomato in Italian, as a reference to that popular tomato-shaped kitchen timer, you know? Not sure if they still exist... but he used it as a timer back then. So, the timer (the tomato) would run for 25 minutes, and during that time, Cirillo would concentrate on his tasks without interruption, 100% focused. He saw it yielded good results and popularized the technique in 1992.
