But today, Allyson’s focus and priorities have shifted after she stopped going to places to compete. But before Allyson kept her racetrack shoes in the corner of her shoe closet for good, she was, well, still is, one of the greatest athletes the world has seen. As I said earlier, #allysonfelix is the most decorated #trackandfield athlete, so you wouldn’t want me to enumerate all her awards and accolades, for sure. But since I can’t help myself, I’ll tell you some of her recognitions, from a long, long list of outstanding performances. Allyson Felix, a now-retired American track and field athlete who competed in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters and specialized in the 200 meters before shifting to the 400 meters, is a seven-time #olympics champion, fourteen-time World champion, and three-time Diamond League Final winner! As I said, those are some of her awards, and what I just told you can’t even be considered “some”. I mean, seven-time Olympic champion?!
