In this video I'll show you how to make freestanding Christmas tress with your cross stitch. The template for the these trees can be found on my website: www.eastcoastcrafter.com I said I stitched these on Dusk Aida, but I actually used 14 count Echo Aida from Picture This Plus with the called for Classic Colorworks flosses. To make a template for a different chart, make a triangle measuring a half inch from the bottom of your stitching and a half inch from both sides. The chart that I used is The Tree Lot by Hands on Design. https://handsondesign.biz Supplies used: Mat board cotton batting Double Sided Tape (I use Scor Tape from Amazon) Bodkin Needle & Heavy Duty Thread Hot Glue DMC floss for cording.
