Having visited the Tandoori Flame a few days back and experiencing a celebratory feast during Ramadan once sunset arrived, I decided to seek out a true Ramadan IFTAR meal. And as luck would have it, there was such a place in Toronto (actually in Mississauga) where there was an IFTAR buffet! It was a bit on the pricier side at $65 and I was intrigued to see what a $65 IFTAR buffet was like. It certainly lived up to the promise. Upon arriving at East Tea Can, all the hard working folks were putting together the feast! From the freshly baked breads and the spreads, to the array of buffet dished, it was quite a sight to see. And of course, the great meats from the kabobs to and entire whole roasted lamb that sits on top of a bed of rice soaking in the juices and fatty goodness of the roast.
