On the evening of August 20th, 2021 two vehicles were involved in a collision on a residential street. An SUV rolled onto its side, trapping the driver and passenger. Vancouver Firefighters performed a vehicle extrication via roof removal with Jaws of Life. We arrived on scene within minutes of the initial call and started to document the firefighters initiating the extrication by stabilizing the vehicle. Within ten minutes they had removed the roof and started the rapid extrication of the trapped passenger and then driver.
